Our guests will also receive information about the fruit and vegetables on offer as well as an overview of the work of the farmers on Lanzarote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before we start the circular hike, we stow our purchases in the car and drive a short distance to the starting point of our hike. From there, we head straight into the agricultural areas, including vineyards and the lava fields around Mancha Blanca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a highlight, we climb the &#8220;Caldera Quemada&#8221; volcano &#8211; a sacred mountain of the indigenous people (Mahos) and take a long rest in the crater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As always, you will learn a lot about the flora, fauna, geology and history of Lanzarote and the Canary Islands on this excursion and what makes us feel like Lanzarote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Duration: approx. 4 hours (45 minutes farmers&#8217; market and approx. 3 hours hike<br>Length: approx. 4.5 km<br>Difficulty: 2 out of 5, largely easy (family-friendly). You should be able to walk stably on uneven ground.
