Farmers’ market in Mancha Blanca and volcano hike

Every Sunday at 11 am!

We meet at 11.00 am in front of the church in Mancha Blanca and visit the farmers’ market together, which offers a wide selection of fresh local produce. Our guests will also receive information about the fruit and vegetables on offer as well as an overview of the work of the farmers on Lanzarote.

Before we start the circular hike, we stow our purchases in the car and drive a short distance to the starting point of our hike. From there, we head straight into the agricultural areas, including vineyards and the lava fields around Mancha Blanca.

As a highlight, we climb the “Caldera Quemada” volcano – a sacred mountain of the indigenous people (Mahos) and take a long rest in the crater.

As always, you will learn a lot about the flora, fauna, geology and history of Lanzarote and the Canary Islands on this excursion and what makes us feel like Lanzarote.
