Water on Lanzarote – a journey to the historical development of the island

This is the first stage of the historical development walk. It is absolutely unique, both in terms of landscape and historical background. On this part of the hike we move in the extremely charming area between Nazaret and Tahiche. Impressive views in the interior of the island, in the context of the development of Lanzarote. Geologically very interesting here is also the black lava flow of the volcano Nueces, which will accompany us part of the way and under which are hidden features from pre-Hispanic times.Continuing on our way, we will reach a hidden gem, the old water conduit that used to cross the lava flows of volcano Nueces. Initially hidden under a “wall” element hidden in the lava but finally presented as a veritable aqueduct.
